In Ehom community, QFF Continue to reduce stigma by providing GBV services to the general community and survivors can seek help without immediately identifying themselves as victims of violence. Rebuilding livelihood and economic autonomy through literacy classes and income generating activities in this community will allow survivors to achieve economic independence and leave violent situations. Survivors deserve safety, support and solidarity especially in hard to reach zones.

QFF ensuring economic empowerment and resilience in hard to reach areas

QFF, with the support from UNFPA, GIZ, BMZ and European Union, continue to stretch assistance to vulnerable women in difficult zones.
In Idenau; West Coast Sub Division of Fako, QFF reaches out to more than 50 most vulnerable women with livelihood support on how to turn flour to dough. The essence of this exercise is to provide them with sustainable income generating opportunities, enhancing food security while promoting economic empowerment and resilience.
With foundational skills like turning flour to dough, these vulnerable women can establish small scale businesses; generating income necessary to support themselves and their families and reducing dependency.
Acquiring practical transferable skills enhances self-worth and confidence; enabling these women to participate in local economies and make meaningful contributions to household decision-making.
This livelihood exercise provides a sense of purpose and routine amidst the chaos of crisis, fostering psychological resilience and giving women the tools to rebuild their lives and achieve long-term stability.
Community development remains an instrumental factor because empowering women has a ripple effect; when women earn an income, they typically invest a significant portion back into their families and communities, improving health and education outcomes.
At the Queen fongang Foundation, we offer a comprehensive suite of programs dedicated to empowering women and girls. Our educational scholarships open doors to academic pursuits, while our skill-building workshops focus on essential areas such as coding, entrepreneurship, and financial management. We provide mentorship opportunities that connect young women with accomplished leaders, fostering guidance and support in navigating their careers. Additionally, our wellness programs emphasize mental health and self-care, equipping participants with tools to manage stress and build resilience. Through leadership training and community engagement activities, we encourage women and girls to become active change-makers in their communities, ensuring they have the confidence and resources to pursue their dreams and drive social impact.
