PROTECTION(GBV,HLP,CP and GENERAL PROTECTION)
Protection is a fundamental aspect of sustainable development and social justice, particularly for marginalized groups. At Queen Fogang Foundation (QFF), we recognize that issues such as gender-based violence (GBV), housing, land and property (HLP) rights, and child protection are critical barriers to achieving equality and security for vulnerable populations. Our commitment to safeguarding the rights of women, children, and marginalized communities drives our holistic approach to protection. By raising awareness and providing resources, we aim to create a safer environment where everyone can thrive.
Gender-based violence remains a pervasive issue that disproportionately affects women and girls. QFF actively works to combat GBV through awareness campaigns, community education, and support services for survivors. We engage local leaders and stakeholders to foster dialogue around GBV, encouraging communities to challenge harmful norms and practices. By providing safe spaces and access to legal aid, counseling, and healthcare services, we empower survivors to reclaim their rights and rebuild their lives. Our goal is to create a community culture that does not tolerate violence and prioritizes the protection of all individuals.
Housing, land, and property rights are also critical components of protection. Many vulnerable individuals face discrimination and insecurity when it comes to accessing these essential resources. QFF advocates for the rights of marginalized groups to secure safe housing and fair access to land and property. We provide legal assistance and education to help individuals understand their rights, enabling them to navigate complex legal frameworks. By working with local authorities and organizations, we aim to promote policies that protect the housing and land rights of vulnerable populations, ensuring their stability and dignity.
Child protection is another vital area of our work, as children are often the most vulnerable members of society. QFF is dedicated to safeguarding children from abuse, exploitation, and neglect. We implement programs that raise awareness about child rights and promote safe environments for children to thrive. Our initiatives include community-based child protection systems, educational support, and family empowerment programs that prioritize the well-being of children. Through collaboration with families, schools, and local authorities, we strive to create a protective network that ensures every child has the opportunity to grow up safe, healthy, and educated. By addressing GBV, HLP issues, and child protection comprehensively, we aim to foster a society where every individual can enjoy their rights and live free from fear and violence
